The Tennessee Titans got some immediate help for the 2024 season with their most recent draft class.
In the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Titans got a starting offensive tackle, an impactful interior defensive lineman, and a starting caliber inside linebacker. Those were three of the organization's biggest needs heading into the draft.
However, the team is not complete. The Titans still have some roster holes that need to be addressed. Tennessee needs a veteran free safety to play alongside Amani Hooker. They could also use a veteran offensive tackle who can play left tackle if JC Latham does not stick on that side.
GM Ran Carthon and head coach Brian Callahan spoke about those needs in a post-draft press conference. The Titans are expected to pursue veteran free agents in the coming weeks at safety and potentially offensive tackle.
"We're going to continue to look at the safety spot. That's one that we're going to address. Like we talked about before, it's a lot of good veteran safeties that are out there on the street, and we knew that there would be," said Carthon after the NFL Draft.
"We're not done adding players if we feel like we need to find someone somewhere else. It's just part of the process," Callahan told the media when asked what the team will do if JC Latham doesn't stick as a left tackle.
