Alabama football officially opens fall camp Thursday with the first practice of the fall. Because of that, some roster changes needed to be finalized, and one wide receiver is no longer listed on the team's official online roster.

After being on the roster in the media guide at SEC Media Days in July, redshirt junior Thaiu Jones-Bell is no longer listed as part of the Crimson Tide as first reported by Mike Rodak of 247Sports.

Over his three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Jones-Bell saw scarce in-game action, appearing in just 12 games with four receptions for 19 yards. Last season, he only had one catch for five yards against Vanderbilt. Jones-Bell had one catch for 15 yards as a member of the Crimson team in the 2023 A-Day game this spring.

Alabama now has 11 scholarship wide receivers on the roster. Five receivers (JoJo Earle, Traeshon Holden, Christian Leary and Tyler Harrell) entered the transfer portal this offseason. Junior Ja'Corey Brooks is now the receiver who has been with the program the longest, and transfer Jermaine Burton and Malik Benson are the only other upperclassmen among the position group.
